Hi, Yangsiyu Lu (鲁杨斯宇) here!
I am a research fellow at Boston University's Global Development Policy Center. I am also a research associate with University of Oxford's Institute for New Economic Thinking.
My research is multi-disciplinary, focusing on energy transition, environmental issues, and climate change. I am particularly interested in three areas of the net-zero transition: 1) driving clean innovations, 2) fostering energy investments, and 3) mitigating environmental risks.
I hold a PhD degree specialised in Environmental Economics from the University of Oxford, a master's degree (French: diplôme d'ingénieur) in Energy and Environment from IMT Mines Albi, and a master's and bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Prior to my PhD, I worked with international organisations (e.g. UNEP in Japan), corporates (e.g. Pernod Ricard in France) and non-profit organisations (e.g. Green Startups Accelerator in China).
I am fluent in Chinese(native), English and French.
